This is the first weekend without our Sunday liturgies. I don't fully know what all might be going through your hearts and minds at this time, but overall I wanted to pass on some information.
1. I'm going to open up an hour for confessions today. Simply place an "x" in a spot you want to reserve in order to maintain anonymity (if you wanted). Please only come about 10 minutes before just to make sure we still adhere to quarantine protocols from the state and federal regulations.
Simply click (or copy and paste) this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Hr_mWP6EBB_C4WfORms_JIHUFhVp2_AF_gouXjVPYWI/edit?usp=sharing
2. Feel free to share this website with others.
3. Also feel free to come and pray in the churches! As long as there aren't around 10 people and you space out this is a PERFECT time to get some quiet time in meditation in church.
4. Just a note to families building on #3. The family is known as the "domestic Church." Meaning, this is the primary place where children and spouses practice the Faith. A lot of people are no longer in school. Take this opportunity to add daily prayer to the routine. Random quiet times, watching Catholic videos on YouTube, a family rosary walk, etc. A lot of times I've seen the temptation to maybe think that CCD/CYO/Catholic School are the only ways in which to learn about and live the Faith. But actually it's home that's the best place! If kids (ages 0-18) see mom and dad adding time for caring for their soul, it will make the youth think as well.
Praying for you with all these regulations still in effect! The masses are still being said for the intentions we have! Feel free to keep those coming in!
In Christ,
~Fr. Hall
