Hello all! Continued prayers for our community!

I had a question about Lenten Grocery Bag Donations. Please continue to take bags from our parishes and fill them with donated food! With less people going out, less donations (money and food) are coming in to help people in need.

You can drop them off at one of the churches OR at Catholic Social Services (CSS) in Hastings (333 W. 2nd St.)! Taking them direction to CSS might help streamline the process, but we definitely won't be picky!

In Christ,

~Fr. Hall

P.S. Here's part of an email from Amy at CSS:

Dear friends,

Here is information on our Catholic Social Services Lenten Canned Food Drive.  This annual  canned food drive is something we rely on heavily to stock our pantry shelves, as well as the pantry shelves throughout Southern Nebraska and the Coronavirus outbreak will increase the need for food, so we plan to continue with our drive, even though we won't be following our original schedule.

PARISH COMMUNICATIONS: Please let them know that the need for food is very great this Lent due to the Coronavirus, and we will need donations now more than ever!

DONATIONS: Please let me know if you have donations that need to be picked up at your parish, and we can schedule a pickup. We encourage you to bring the donations to us, if possible.
